Jill graduated from Youngstown State University in 2016 earning a Master of Science in Education degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. Jill is licensed in the state of Ohio and Virginia, and hold sa National Certified Counselor certification
Jill has experience working with adolescents and adults who struggle with anxiety, depression, and substance use. Other areas of clinical interest include personal growth and relationships. In practice, she utilizes therapeutic interventions from evidence-based approaches such as Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Person-Centered, and Motivational Interviewing.
As a therapist her goal is to create an environment that cultivates trust, safety, and unconditional positive regard to establish a strong therapeutic relationship.
