I had a great experience at AllCare Ballston. It was easy for me to book an appointment online for the very next morning. The check-in process when I got there was simple and easy, and I was seen in a reasonable amount of time. I saw Dr. Nader Silver and he was great! He spent a lot of time with me listening to my concerns and explaining possible causes of my issue. Overall would recommend!

Had a telework appointment and it was very convenient.

This was the best urgent care experience I have ever had. I made a last minute appointment to be seen at this location. I arrived, signed in, and was called back within 5 minutes. Everyone was friendly and attentive. Dr. Atallah was wonderful. She was very thorough and wanted to understand my medical history (even asked to see previous bloodwork results). My prescriptions were called in quickly and she followed up within 2 days via message to let me know my bloodwork results. I would definitely recommend AllCare Ballston!

I have had numerous appointment at Allcare Ballston and really like this office. It’s easy to book appointment and they are open after 5pm which means I do not need to miss any work. The office is spotless clean and the receptionist is friendly. The nurses and doctors are very welcoming and listen to their patients. I have seen Dr. Burke who I loved but he might have switch locations or practices. Now I see Dr. Thruong and she is great! I highly recommend her and this doctors office.

Dr. Burke is one of those doctors you wouldn't want to leave even after moving to another state. Super friendly, attentive, and empathetic. He's truly one of the best out there! The staff at the front desk are fantastic too - responsive and considerate! I'm very grateful for all the support I recieved at this location. 10/10 for Dr. Burke and his staff! :)

Racial Bias felt at this location with Dr. Matt Burke. It took me a few hours to process my experience because this is 2022 and I couldn't believe this was happening. Upon entering my room, Dr. Burke immediately made mention that he would be leaving the practice in a month and therefore couldn't become my primary doctor. Fair enough. I should probably find a permanent primary care physician anyway.. He proceeded to ask me if I had my Covid shots & boosters and my annual flu shot. Check, check, check. Then he spent almost 10 minutes telling me I would need a tetanus shot, a shingles shot & that I had a choice between two colon cancer screenings (one very invasive and one take home kit). I made a joke about the fact this was a lot of information and decision making before I had even received my primary care for the actual reason I was there--to get blood work to make sure everything else (cholesterol, blood sugars, etc were fine). I mean he hadn't even checked my heartbeat or my reflexes before informing me about all these tests. But, that's beside the point. And then the next comment that came out of his mouth took me majorly by surprise. He said "Well, the Obama Care act allows you to get all these screenings for free." Confused, I told him "I have (fill in the blank/standard) insurance" and then he asked me who I worked for. He seemed very surprised for some strange reason that I had a more conventional health insurance plan. I answered him politely--still thinking that he couldn't possibly be racially profiling me. Could he? I mean, I'm showered & dressed up. I even have my pearls on today. I was very pleasant & friendly to him. But unfortunately, YES, this didn't feel "normal". This felt discriminatory. I actually thought about walking out immediately, but I needed to get my annual physical done. For people of color, I highly recommend requesting another doctor. This pains me to have to share this experience with all of you. I've never experienced anything like this before WITH A DOCTOR, someone who is supposed to provide unbiased, nurturing care. My heart is broken for anyone else who may have experienced this. Be careful on who you request here at the Ballston location. Otherwise, the rest of the staff is absolutely AMAZING. My only hope is that Dr. Burke checks his privilege and maybe takes some courses towards racial bias! Not all people of color are underprivileged and on Obamacare!
