Skin rashes are a common dermatological condition characterized by changes in the appearance, texture, and color of the skin. They can manifest as redness, bumps, blisters, itchiness, dryness, or scaling, and they may vary in size and severity. Rashes can appear suddenly or develop gradually over time, and they may affect a localized area of the skin or cover large portions of the body due to causes such as allergic reactions, infections, or autoimmune disorders- among others.
We provide treatment for a variety of common skin rashes. Our team will assess your condition and offer the most appropriate treatment plan, which may include topical medications, oral medications, or recommendations for relief of your symptoms.
Depending on the type and severity of your rash, we may prescribe medications to alleviate symptoms and promote healing. This includes topical creams, ointments, or oral medications tailored to your specific needs.
In cases where specialized care is required, we will refer you to a dermatologist for further evaluation and treatment. This ensures that you receive the best possible care for more complex skin conditions.
We provide sunburn treatment recommendations along with assesment of your burn. Our team will determine if you need further support with your sunburn and provide suggestions for symptom relief.

Skin rashes can be caused by factors like food/medicine allergies, infections, heat, chronic conditions, and contact with irritants. Something to consider is that chronic conditions such as eczema, psoriasis, and rosacea can lead to recurring rashes as well.
Several home remedies can help treat a skin rash. Applying a cold, damp cloth can reduce inflammation and itching. Aloe vera gel is also effective in cooling and calming the skin, reducing irritation, that’s why is also important to avoid irritants -like perfumes- that may worsen the rash and to keep the skin hydrated with hypoallergenic moisturizers.
You should see a doctor if the rash or sunburn is widespread and painful, accompanied by fever or other signs of infection, begins to blister or lead to open sores, or doesn’t improve with home treatments within a few days. If you suspect you have severe skin rash or sunburn/sun poisoning, drive to your closest ER facility to be treated immediately.
Preventing sunburn from peeling involves keeping the sunburned skin moisturized with aloe vera or a gentle, fragrance-free lotion to hydrate the skin. Also, drinking plenty of water can help keep you hydrated and that’s reflected on your skin as well, something to be mentioned is that taking cool baths or applying cold compresses can reduce inflammation and discomfort. Always protect your skin from further sun exposure by wearing sunscreen, protective clothing, and seeking shade when outdoors.
